You can stay at this Large Malibu Villa on a three-acre oceanfront bluff. You will have a short 10 minute walk to Malibu's Escondido Beach . Enter the gate and down a long private drive to unparalleled ocean views on three acres. 7 bedrooms, 5 baths with high ceilings and uninterrupted ocean views through out. Chef’s kitchen and large dining room plus two outdoor dining areas. This wonderful hidden resort has a large swimmer’s pool and koi pond in the back.

Downstairs Bedrooms:
1st main bedroom with a king size bed and Ocean View Porch , private bathroom with steam shower and fireplace.
2nd bedroom with 2 single beds ( shared bathroom)
3rd bedroom with queen size bed ( shared bathroom)

4th Master bedroom with King Size bed and very Large bathroom with Steam Shower and jacuzzi tub . Also the Master has a desk and a benched alcove with amazing Ocean Views.
5th Large bedroom with beautiful Safari Canopy bed and Safari Style Bathroom with shower and jacuzzi tub and a large balcony with spectacular views of the Ocean and fireplace.
6th Bedroom with queen size bed and large Ocean View Balcony.
7th bedroom Queen Bed

Downstairs is the Living area with a grand piano and sitting area with amazing Ocean Views and fireplace There is a living room with a projection tv. There is a Large dining room with beautiful chandelier, sitting room and porch with large table for dining outdoors with Ocean View from all rooms.
There is also a porch in the back of the house with dining and a pond with Koi fish and large garden. There is a very large modern Kitchen fully stocked with all of the modern conveniences and a laundry room.

Upstairs there is a sitting room with big screen TV and treadmill for working out.

The grounds in front of the home includes a firepit and large pool with Spectacular Ocean views.

There are two lots available for parking.

The Mansion has a security gate with a long stone driveway.

There is a small guesthouse and office on the grounds that are sometimes occupied by the Owners.

NOTICE OF CANCELLATION – Should you wish to cancel this reservation, notice of cancellation MUST BE SENT IN WRITING TO:

ACKNOWLEDGMENT AND CONSENT TO TERMS FOR CANCELLATION. By approving this Agreement, Licensee hereby acknowledges that he or she has read and understands the provisions governing cancellation in the reciept and that Licensee agrees with such provisions. Licensee understands that if Licensee cancels his/her reservation, regardless of the reason, any prepayments by Licensee will be refunded only as provided below:

1. Cancellation 61 Days or more prior Check-in Date: If the Agreement is cancelled by Licensee at least 61 days or more prior to the Check-in Date, Licensee will no longer be charged the second payment. The Licensee will be charged the remainder of the initial payment as a cancellation fee or $250 whichever is greater.

2. Cancellation 60 Days or less prior to Check-in Date: Licensee shall not be entitled to a refund of any money paid in the event of cancellation that occurs 60 days or less before the Check-in Date.

NOTE: For purposes of this provision, the Check-in Date is not included in the calculation of the number of days for giving notice of cancellation.

My family, consisting of three generations, ranging from 1 to 72, enjoyed a wonderful 10 days in Malibu! The house is beautiful, the grounds are incredible and the views breathtaking. The owners were extremely helpful, as was the lovely couple who have a small house on the grounds. It was a fabulous vacation - could not have been better!

We stayed here for a family reunion/birthday celebration. It worked really well for us. The view is fantastic because the lot is so wide, unlike most Malibu properties.This gave us a great sense of privacy that is sometimes missing so close to the water. And even though we could see the dolphins swim by, we were not right on the beach which works for me with my irrational fear of tidal waves.
The house has lots of rooms. Some large for family gatherings and some cozy for alone time. I like to cook and the kitchen was great. Everything I needed was there. I also like to make reservations, and there were plenty of restaurants to choose from. There were two problem; 1) the weather was often overcast and 2) it was difficult getting everyone to leave the house to go sight seeing. They just wanted to stay there and relax.

We had family from all over the USA come to Malibu for our daughter's graduation from Pepperdine. I looked at EVERY property available that could accommodate 10+ people and none were more perfect than this gorgeous home. It was more expensive than some of the other options, but worth it!
I'm going to attempt to state the benefits in bullet points so this review doesn't need chapter heading delineations.

-Quality: Everything (Furniture, fabulous artwork, all kitchen equipment, bed and bath textiles were great for a rental)

-Fabulous location: This home is gated and very private. You will feel like you are at a private resort. It was such a beautiful setting, we just hung out at the pool and enjoyed the views and the playful sea life. There is a pedestrian path outside the front gate that will take you to the ocean - under PCH, so you don't have to worry about any guest getting hit by a car. Some of us walked down to Paradise Cove for breakfast. We moved a car down to the restaurant for the people who didn't want to walk back. Worked out perfectly.

Great outdoor design for activities - Daytime/pool, Nighttime/firepit (***firewood available in Malibu is not good, and overpriced. Don't buy the bundles available at some of the stores. They are pine and won't last than 30 minutes. I would ask the listing agent, or owner, for suggestions on good firewood sources.

Owners - The owners of this house were SO nice to deal with on this rental. They have an incredibly beautiful home with such quality contents and were very "chill" about the transaction. The owner not only expressed her gratitude for us leaving their home in good order, she direct deposited our deposit in our bank!
